Damian Lewis “is dating American rocker Alison Mosshart” | Entertainment

According to some rumors, Damian Lewis would be in a relationship with the American singer Alison Mosshart.

The ‘Billions’ actor, 51, was spotted out in public again on Sunday (03.07.22) with the 43-year-old musician from ‘The Kills’, 14 months after the death of the actress’s wife. Lewis, Helen McCrory.

Their third known outing together was at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, with Lewis smiling as he admired the racing cars as Mosshart was nearby.

A viewer who saw them together last week on a London Underground train told the Daily Mail they were “100 per cent romantically involved – like they were on a date”.

They added, “I didn’t know if it was him at first, but his voice is so deep and distinctive.

“But after everything he’s been through, it’s nice to think he’s found someone new. They looked really happy together.

A week earlier, the couple had been photographed at a fundraising event for the National Gallery in London.

Lewis, who has two children with his 14-year-old wife McCrory, always wore his wedding ring at the Grand Prix.

Mosshart’s brother-in-chief Matthew was engaged to Kelly Osbourne, 37, until they announced their split in 2014.

Representatives for Lewis and Mosshart have yet to comment to the Daily Mail on the report of a possible relationship between the pair.

McCrory, famous for playing Aunt Polly on ‘Peaky Blinders’, died in April 2021 aged 52 from breast cancer – a diagnosis she kept a secret from the public.

Lewis recounted after his death how his late wife urged him to find love again, telling him and their daughter Manon, 15, and son Gulliver, 14, that she wanted “dad have lots of girlfriends.

Lewis added in a tribute: “She died as she lived. Without fear. God we love him and know how lucky we are to have had him in our lives. She shone so bright. Go now, Petit, in the air.

McCrory was made an OBE in 2017 for his services to the theatre, worked with the National Theater and played Lady Macbeth at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.

Her last TV appearance was in March last year when she joined Lewis on ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’ to promote their work with charity The Prince’s Trust.
