A new HKS-designed entertainment venue is rising in the Hollywood Park mixed-use mega-development being built in Inglewood. The project is led by experiential media and immersive technology company Cosm and would be the first site to use their domed and curved LED technology.

The site is adjacent to another HKS-designed project, SoFi Stadium. It will feature a 26.6-meter (87-foot) diameter LED dome in a 65,000-square-foot facility that can accommodate up to 1,700 guests. Programming on the site will include live sports and entertainment, experiential events and content, immersive art, music, and more.

“We look forward to Hollywood Park hosting Cosm’s first location. Their modern design and immersive LED technology will create a one-of-a-kind entertainment offering for our customers and our community,” said Jason Gannon, General Manager of SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park.

“From our immersive 8K live production, to real-time technology that leverages game engines like Unreal, to the architectural and interior designs and technical construction of our physical venues, our vertically integrated platform seamlessly intersects the digital and physical worlds,” added Devin Poolman, Chief Product and Technology Officer of Cosm.

Construction of the site is expected to begin in fall 2022.
