The Weeknd announced the “103.5 Dawn FM” live broadcast experience.

Hitmaker “Take My Breath” has teamed up with Amazon Music to host the special celebration for their upcoming fifth studio album, “Dawn FM.”

The performance will be filmed “somewhere in Los Angeles” and will begin at 5 a.m. UK time and midnight EST on Friday (01/07/22), the same day the LP was released.

The livestream will stream on the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch and the Amazon Music app.

A press release said: “The power of the 103.5 Dawn FM experience is that maximum fulfillment comes when everyone who hears it is listening at the same time.”

The 31-year-old star took to social media earlier this week to tease details of ‘Dawn FM’, revealing that the upcoming album will feature comedian Jim Carrey.

In the Twitter post, a voice said, “You are now listening to 103.5: Dawn FM. You have been in the dark for too long, it is time to step into the light and accept your fate with open arms.”

During the music video, the upcoming album is presented as a “new sound universe from the spirit of The Weeknd”.

The acclaimed star – real name Abel Tesfaye – also worked with Quincy Jones, Tyler, the Creator and Lil Wayne on the record.

Jim, 59, has listened to the album before and is “delighted” to be involved in the project.

He wrote on the microblogging platform: “I listened to Dawn FM with my good friend Abel @theweeknd last night. It was deep and elegant and it got me dancing all over the room. play a role in his symphony. (sic) “

The Weeknd previously revealed that he and Jim became friends around the time of his 30th birthday.

When asked if the pandemic had ruined his celebrations, he replied, “My birthday was right before. The party wasn’t big. It was a small room. Super grungy. Really good. It’s a big one. place in the Eastside, lit up, I was DJing with friends, there were about a hundred people.

“We had fun and we were careless. I think I hugged every person in this building. It was a great time. And I met Jim Carrey.”

He later explained that he only lived “two buildings down” from the Hollywood star.

The singer – whose latest album, ‘After Hours’, was released in March 2020 – shared, “He literally lived like two buildings below my house.

“He had a telescope, and I had a telescope. He was like, ‘Where do you live? What floor do you live on?’ I was like, blah, blah, blah. And we looked out our telescope windows and we could see each other. “
